radical hacks Adding 1/2 Hour Increments and Custom Subject Font Color to WebCal To add Half Hour increments I just added fileds to the %TIME and %time_values variables:

  %TIME = ('01:00', '1 AM',     '01:30', '1:30 AM',
           '02:00', '2 AM',     '02:30', '2:30 AM',
           '03:00', '3 AM',     '03:30', '3:30 AM',
           '04:00', '4 AM',     '04:30', '4:30 AM',
           '05:00', '5 AM',     '05:30', '5:30 AM',
           '06:00', '6 AM',     '06:30', '6:30 AM',
           '07:00', '7 AM',     '07:30', '7:30 AM',
           '08:00', '8 AM',     '08:30', '8:30 AM',
           '09:00', '9 AM',     '09:30', '9:30 AM',
           '10:00', '10 AM',    '10:30', '10:30 AM',
           '11:00', '11 AM',    '11:30', '11:30 AM',
           '12:00', '12 Noon',  '12:30', '12:30 PM',
           '13:00', '1 PM',     '13:30', '1:30 PM',
           '14:00', '2 PM',     '14:30', '2:30 PM',
           '15:00', '3 PM',     '15:30', '3:30 PM',
           '16:00', '4 PM',     '16:30', '4:30 PM',
           '17:00', '5 PM',     '17:30', '5:30 PM',
           '18:00', '6 PM',     '18:30', '6:30 PM',
           '19:00', '7 PM',     '19:30', '7:30 PM',
           '20:00', '8 PM',     '20:30', '8:30 PM',
           '21:00', '9 PM',     '21:30', '9:30 PM',
           '22:00', '10 PM',    '22:30', '10:30 PM',
           '23:00', '11 PM',    '23:30', '11:30 PM',
           '24:00', '12 Midnight', '00:30', '12:30 AM');

  @time_values = ('24:00', '00:30',
           '01:00', '01:30',
           '02:00', '02:30',
           '03:00', '03:30',
           '04:00', '04:30',
           '05:00', '05:30',
           '06:00', '06:30',
           '07:00', '07:30',
           '08:00', '08:30',
           '09:00', '09:30',
           '10:00', '10:30',
           '11:00', '11:30',
           '12:00', '12:30',
           '13:00', '13:30',
           '14:00', '14:30',
           '15:00', '15:30',
           '16:00', '16:30',
           '17:00', '17:30',
           '18:00', '18:30',
           '19:00', '19:30',
           '20:00', '20:30',
           '21:00', '21:30',
           '22:00', '22:30',
           '23:00', '23:30');

To add a Label Color field I modified the @field_names and @field_values arrays:

	@field_names = ("Day", "Month", "Year",
			"Username", "First Name",
                  	"Last Name", "Email Address",
			"Subject", "Color", "Event Time",
                  	"Body", "Database Id Number");

  	@field_values = ("day", "month", "year", "username",
			"first_name", "last_name", "email",
			"subject", "color", "time", "body",
                        "databse_id_number");

Then I added some code to the add/modify html form:

	<TR>
    <TD><Select NAME = "color">
    	<Option value="black">None
    	<Option value="blue">Blue
    	<Option value="red">Red
    	<Option value="green">Green
    	<Option value="purple">Purple
    	<Option value="yellow">Yellow
    </select></TD>
    </TR>

Next I modified the Database access statement to incorporate the new field:

    while (<DATABASE>)
        {
        ($day, $month, $year, $username,
	 $first_name, $last_name, $email,
         $subject, $color, $time, $body,
	 $database_id_number) = split (/\|/,$_);
Finally the new field had to be used in the Subject display output:

     print qq!<BR><FONT SIZE = "1"
	color="$color">$subject</FONT>\n!;
