Boeing: Maintanence Free Software
of Boeing wrote in to tell us about their experiences with WebCal.

"I am happy to say that we have been using the Web Calendar within our UNIX Systems Administration group for nearly 2 years now. Our group of 15 admins support over 100 servers here at "site 0" the software development center for the mammoth new Enterprise-wide Distributed System here a Boeing. [Check out Boeing]

After my initial "customizations" (.i.e. added graphics...), it has been practically maintenance-free. We use it to communicate Personal Vacation and other out-of-office notes, as well as to schedule time on one of our "crash and burn" test servers.

For the first 6 months the Calendar was running on an HP 9000 machine, and when we moved to a new Sun Ultra Enterprise II, running Solaris 2.51, I was pleased that I didn't have to modify any of the Perl code for it to work!"
